Regular Season Round 33: Kyoto Hannar. - San-en 77-75

The most exciting game of round 33 in the B League took place in Kyoto. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of second-best Sanen Neophoenix (18-14) to fifth ranked Kyoto Hannar. (14-18) 77-75 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Sanen Neophoenix. Sanen Neophoenix was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 7-point lead after three quarters before a 25-16 charge of Kyoto Hannar., which allowed them to win the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Sanen Neophoenix helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American Marcus Dove (206-85, college: Oklahoma St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Hayato Kawashima (186-90) contributed with 10 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American forward Robert Dozier (206-85, college: Memphis) answered with 15 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import swingman Josh Childress (203-83, college: Stanford) added 10 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Sanen Neophoenix. Four Sanen Neophoenix players scored in double figures. Sanen Neophoenix's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kyoto Hannar. moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Ryukyu GK. Sanen Neophoenix at the other side keeps the second position with 14 games lost. They share it with Osaka Evessa. Kyoto Hannar. is looking forward to face Sendai 89ers (#4) on the road in the next round. Sanen Neophoenix will play against Akita Happinets and is hoping to win this game.
