Serie B top team - Orzinuovi GaGa (15-2) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat sixth ranked Lecco (10-7) 64-52. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Lecco. The former international Rodolfo Valenti (198-80) stepped up and scored 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and center Giorgio Piunti (206-90, agency: SPORTlab Agency) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Four Orzinuovi GaGa players scored in double figures. Point guard Carlo Fumagalli (187-96) responded with 11 points and power forward Ludovico De Paoli (207-92, agency: Two Points) scored 9 points. Lecco's coach Massimo Meneguzzo tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Orzinuovi GaGa have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place in B with 15-2 record. Loser Lecco keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. Orzinuovi GaGa will face Faenza (#5) at home in the next round. Lecco will play against Vicenza and hope to win that game.
