Regular Season Round 17: Sestu - Faenza 47-65

Very expected game when 16th ranked Sestu (3-14) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Faenza (11-6) 65-47 on Sunday. Swingman Daniele Casadei (199-81) stepped up and scored 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and forward Jacopo Silimbani (202-86, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 20 points. Faenza's coach Marco Regazzi used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Nicola Elia (185-76) responded with 7 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Mauro Graviano (180-89) scored 14 points. Faenza maintains fifth place in B with 11-6 record. Newly promoted Sestu keeps the sixteenth position with 14 games lost. Faenza will face league's leader Orzinuovi GaGa on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sestu will play against Desio (#10) and hope to win that game.
