Second Stage Round 2: Wetterbygden - LF Future 84-97

Very significant was LF Future's (#6) 97-84 road victory against Wetterbygden in Superettan. It looked good early as Wetterbygden took a 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then LF Future had a 27-17 second period charge getting the lead and Wetterbygden was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 84-97. LF Future shot the lights out from three nailing 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. Guard Erik Edin (185-91) notched 37 points (!!!) to lead the effort and American guard Brian Curry (185-86) supported him with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). LF Future's coach Jim Enbom allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists by guard Eddie Alm (187-95) did not help to save the game for Wetterbygden. Forward Mathias Liljeqvist (196-92) added 17 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. LF Future will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Wetterbygden will play on the road against AIK (#2) in Solna to get more than just one victory in their record.
