No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Roseto (10-8) crushed at home 13th ranked Bondi Ferrara (6-12) 107-75 on Sunday. Roseto shot 66.1 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 19 long-distance shots on high 67.9 percentage. It was a good game for American point guard Adam Smith (185-92, college: Georgia Tech) who led his team to a victory with 40 points (!!!) and 5 assists. The former international point guard Robert Fultz (191-82, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 24 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. American forward Laurence Bowers (203-90, college: Missouri) replied with 22 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Riccardo Cortese (195-86) added 18 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for Bondi Ferrara. Five Roseto and four Bondi Ferrara players scored in double figures. Roseto maintains eighth position in A2 with 10-8 record. Loser Bondi Ferrara dropped to the fourteenth place with 12 games lost. Roseto will face Imola (#12) on the road in the next round. Bondi Ferrara will play against Mantova and hope to win that game.
