Another exciting game for Tortona (11-7) which played on the court of Roma E-basket (10-8). Fourth ranked Tortona won 89-85. American players dominated the game. Point guard Glenn Cosey (183-92, college: E.Kentucky, agency: Three Eye Sports) scored 29 points to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Phil Greene IV (187-92, college: St.John's) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was center Tony Easley (206-87, college: Murray St.) with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Michael Deloach (185-86, college: Norfolk St.) scored 20 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tortona maintains fourth position in A2 with 11-7 record. Newly promoted Roma E-basket dropped to the seventh place with eight games lost. Tortona will play against Agropoli (#15) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Roma E-basket will play against the league's leader Legnano (#1) in Castellanza and hopes to get back on the winning track.
