The game in Suhareke supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Peja (11-1) played at the court of 5th ranked Ylli (6-8). Peja smashed Ylli 97-72 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Ylli. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 59-30 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Peja looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Alban Veseli (202-90) who scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. American swingman Lamarcus Reed (196-88, college: Texas Arlington) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Four Peja players scored in double figures. Peja's coach Aleksandar Todorov felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Kevin Brown (190-92, college: New Orleans) who recorded 27 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and center Ergin Grosha (212-93) added 14 points and 15 rebounds respectively. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Peja. They keep a position of league leader. Loser Ylli keeps the fifth place with eight games lost. Peja will meet at home league's second-placed Sigal Prishtina in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ylli will play against Trepca and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
