Regular Season Round 14: TTU - TLU/Kalev 62-82

Date: January 22, 2017
The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tallinn: TLU/Kalev (#8) and TTU (#4). TTU was smashed at home by 20 points 62-82 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. The game without a history. TLU/Kalev led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. TLU/Kalev had a 31-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Serbian center Djordje Dzeletovic (205-93, agency: AproK Sports Group) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. The former international point guard Kristo Saage (186-85) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds. Four TLU/Kalev players scored in double figures. Sten Olmre (192-95) produced 17 points and 5 rebounds and Serbian center Nikola Vujovic (210-93, college: Georgian Court) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. TLU/Kalev (5-10) moved-up to sixth place. TTU at the other side dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. TLU/Kalev's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tallinn Kalev/Cramo.
