Regular Season Round 17: Domodossola - Piombino 57-62

Very predictable result when ninth ranked Piombino (9-8) defeated on the road 14th ranked Domodossola (6-11) 62-57 on Sunday. Swingman Camillo Bianchi (194-94) stepped up and scored 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and point guard Simone Bonfiglio (181-88) chipped in 14 points and 4 assists. Corrado Bianconi (202-94) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Francesco Tuci (204-92) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Piombino moved-up to seventh place in B, which they share with Padova and Crema. Newly promoted Domodossola dropped to the tenth position with 11 games lost. Piombino will face higher ranked Fiorentina (#5) in Firenze in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Domodossola will play on the road against Montecatiniterme (#4) and hope to win that game.
