Regular Season Round 20: MCKiS Jaworz. - Polonia Bytom 65-77

An interesting game for Polonia Bytom (15-4) which played road game in Jaworzno against one of their biggest challengers MCKiS Jaworz. (13-7). Third ranked Polonia Bytom managed to get a 12-point victory 77-65. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of MCKiS Jaworz.. It was a great shooting night for Polonia Bytom especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. The best player for the winners was forward Tomasz Gembus (197-87) who scored 23 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Guard Bartlomiej Wroblewski (183-92) chipped in 9 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Dawid Grochowski (190-89) produced 17 points and 6 rebounds and forward Michal Matysiak (200-89) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Polonia Bytom maintains third position in Group C with 15-4 record having just one point less than leader R8 Basket Krk. MCKiS Jaworz. at the other side keeps the fourth place with seven games lost. Polonia Bytom's next round opponent will be AZS KU PO (#5) in Opole. MCKiS Jaworz. will play on the road against the league's leader R8 Basket Krk. in Krakow and hope to win that game.
