We should mention about the upset which took place in Huesca, where higher ranked Lleida Basquet (11-10) lost to seventeenth ranked Magia Huesca (5-16) in a road game 67-77 on Monday. It was a great shooting night for Magia Huesca especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. The best player for the winners was swingman Mikel Motos (193-93, college: Sammic ISB, agency: Octagon Europe) who had a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Lithuanian Jokubas Gintvainis (193-94) chipped in 16 points and 5 assists. Four Magia Huesca players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Garrett Nevels (188-92, college: Hawaii) who recorded 15 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and Brazilian forward Leonardo Demetrio (203-94) added 13 points respectively. Lleida Basquet's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Magia Huesca moved-up to sixteenth place, which they share with Marin. Loser Lleida Basquet keeps the tenth position with ten games lost. Magia Huesca will face higher ranked Palma (#11) in S'Arenal in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
