Very important is a road loss of third ranked Rapla (9-3) against fifth ranked Parnu (8-7) on Tuesday night. Visiting Rapla was defeated by Parnu in a tough game in Parnu 59-65. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Rapla. The hosts were ahead by 2 points but lost the second period ending it with a 5-point deficit before their 20-9 run, which allowed them to win the game. Parnu dominated on the defensive end, holding Rapla to just 7 points in second quarter. The former international power forward Reinar Hallik (208-84) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Croatian center Domagoj Bubalo (212-91) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. International Martin Paasoja (191-93) replied with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Dutch center Thomas van der Mars (208-90, college: Portland) added 12 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for Rapla. Parnu moved-up to fourth place. Rapla at the other side keeps the third position with three games lost. Parnu will play against league's second-placed Kalev/Cramo in Tallinn in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Rapla will play at home against the league's leader TU/Rock and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
