No shocking result in a game in Beijing where tenth ranked Jiangsu Dragons (16-15) defeated 17th ranked North Control (7-23) 115-109 on Tuesday. American swingman MarShon Brooks (196-89, college: Providence) fired 32 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. The former international Li Yi (203-85) chipped in 25 points and 5 rebounds. American point guard Errick McCollum (185-88, college: Goshen) produced 38 points (!!!) and 6 assists and Uruguayan-Spanish power forward Esteban Batista (208-83, agency: Duran International) added 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Five Jiangsu Dragons and four North Control players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players saving starting five for next games. Jiangsu Dragons maintains tenth place with 16-15 record. Loser North Control keeps the seventeenth position with 23 games lost. Jiangsu Dragons will face higher ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (#4) in Hangzhou in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. North Control will play at home against Guangzhou (#20) and hope to win that game.
