Regular Season Round 22: COR-Borisfen - Prinemanye 80-63

There was no surprise in Mogilev where 7th ranked Prinemanye (5-15) was defeated by second ranked COR-Borisfen (17-1) 80-63 on Friday. Prinemanye trailed 38-36 at halftime, rallying from a 29-13 deficit at the end of first quarter to trim the gap. COR-Borisfen dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Prinemanye's 22. COR-Borisfen forced 19 Prinemanye turnovers. Ukrainian center Maksym Kozlovets (205-90) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Center Pavel Bliznets (210-94) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. Five COR-Borisfen players scored in double figures. Guard Pavel Suvorov (185-95) produced 26 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Aliaksei Navoichyk (190-1) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. COR-Borisfen have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Grodno-93. Prinemanye lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 15 games lost. COR-Borisfen is looking forward to face Vitebsk (#4) at home in the next round. Prinemanye's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Grodno to the arena Grodno-93.
