The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Sendai 89ers' (9-25) home loss to fourth ranked Kyoto Hannar. (16-18) 58-63 on Friday. Sendai 89ers were trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 19-11 charge of Kyoto Hannar., which allowed them to win the game.
