Regular Season Round 19: Spojnia - Biofarm PZN 62-71

The game between second ranked Spojnia (14-5) and ninth ranked Biofarm PZN (9-10) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Spojnia was defeated by Biofarm PZN in a tough game in Stargard 62-71. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Spojnia. It was a great evening for forward Mateusz Brek (192-94) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Filip Struski (200-94) helped adding 12 points and 8 rebounds. Five Biofarm PZN players scored in double figures. Biofarm PZN's coach Przemyslaw Szurek used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side guard Marcin Dymala (188-90) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Hubert Pabian (200-89, agency: Promotex) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Biofarm PZN moved-up to eighth place. Spojnia at the other side dropped to the third position with five games lost. Biofarm PZN are looking forward to face Kotwica (#12) in Kolobrzeg in the next round. Spojnia will play on the road against Astoria Bydg. (#15) in Bydgoszcz and is hoping to win this game.
