Second Stage Round 3: Toyota B SR - Aishin AW 77-60

Rather expected game when Aishin Wings (1-2) lost to Toyota B SR (3-0) in Aichi 60-77. The game was mostly controlled by Toyota B SR. Aishin Wings was better in fourth quarter 26-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Toyota B SR dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Aishin Wings' 14. The best player for the winners was guard Yui Kawahara (169-91) who scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Power forward Sari Osabe (174-87) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Toyota B SR players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international power forward Evelyn Mawuli (180-95) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and center Baiq Ghua (185-92) added 7 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Toyota B SR's next round opponent will be Haneda Vickies (#8) in Tokyo. Aishin Wings will play at home against Niigata R. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
