Regular Season Round 18: Gandia - Granada 82-89

Very predictable result when third ranked CB Granada (13-6) won against on the road 12th ranked Gandia (5-13) 89-82 on Saturday. They outrebounded Gandia 38-20 including a 28-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for CB Granada especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. It was a good game for Jamaican forward Tyran De Lattibeaudiere (201-91, college: Lamar) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 7 rebounds. American guard Adrian Bowie (189-89, college: Maryland) contributed with 17 points and 5 assists for the winners. Guard Carlos Gil (185-93) replied with 22 points and naturalized American center Shalawn Miller (205-74, college: Mass.-Lowell) added 11 points and 6 assists in the effort for Gandia. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. CB Granada moved-up to second place. Gandia lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the thirteenth position with 13 games lost. CB Granada will face CB Tarragona 2017 (#15) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Gandia will play against Fontedoso Carrefour in Avila and hope to win that game.
