The most important game in the last round took place in Alcazar between second ranked Fontedoso Carrefour (12-6) and ninth ranked Alcazar (10-8) on Saturday night. Fontedoso Carrefour was defeated by Alcazar on the road 61-79. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Fontedoso Carrefour. They outrebounded Fontedoso Carrefour 39-28 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for American-Haitian guard Nick LaGuerre (190-93, college: St.Mary's, MD, agency: Duran International) who led his team to a victory with 23 points. Forward Ignacio Diaz (200-87) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Javier Marin (195-94) replied with 14 points and 4 assists and British William Hall (201-91, agency: Dynamics Global Management) added 16 points in the effort for Fontedoso Carrefour. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Alcazar have a solid three-game winning streak.
