Regular Season Round 16: Peja - Sigal Prishtina 67-79

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Peja (11-2) in Peje on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by Sigal Prishtina (12-2) 79-67. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Peja. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game without a history. Sigal Prishtina led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American point guard Jabarie Hinds (180-92, college: Massachusetts) fired 19 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!) for the winners. The former international forward Drilon Hajrizi (203-91) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. Sigal Prishtina's coach Audrius Prakuraitis used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Jamie Skeen (205-88, college: VCU) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and the former international forward Alban Veseli (202-90) added 19 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Sigal Prishtina have an impressive 12-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. Peja at the other side dropped to the second place with two games lost. Sigal Prishtina's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Prishtina Kerasan.
