Regular Season Round 17: Torrelodones - Tenerife Naut. 66-87

Very expected game in Madrid where 14th ranked Torrelodones (3-12) was rolled over by sixth ranked Tenerife Naut. (10-5) 87-66 on Saturday. It was a great shooting night for Tenerife Naut. especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. The best player for the winners was Cuban power forward Georffri Silvestre (202-79) who scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Ayoze Alonso (187-91) chipped in 14 points and 6 assists. Nigerien center Serge Mourtala (212-98) produced 17 points and 8 rebounds and forward Ruben Portes (192-81) added 12 points and 4 steals respectively for the hosts. Four Torrelodones players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tenerife Naut. maintains sixth place in Group B with 10-5 record. Torrelodones lost their third game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with 12 games lost. Tenerife Naut. will face Estudiantes B (#13) in Madrid in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Torrelodones will play on the road against CB Guadalajara and hope to win that game.
