Leader Bologna recorded the fourteenth victory on Saturday night. This time they beat 9th ranked Viterbo (4-11) 61-48. The game without a history. Bologna led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a quality performance of power forward Chiara Cadoni (182-94) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 8 rebounds and the former international forward Alessandra Tava (183-91) who added 15 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Giulia Ciavarella (181-97) responded with 14 points and 5 rebounds and forward Anna Romagnoli (175-92) scored 6 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bologna maintains first position in A2 with 14-1 record. Loser Viterbo dropped to the tenth place with 11 games lost. Bologna will meet at home Castellammare (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Viterbo will play against Marghera in Venezia and hope to secure a win.
