Not a big story in a game when Talje Knights (3-6) were defeated on the road by Helsingborg (6-5) 84-73 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Helsingborg. Talje Knights was better in third quarter 27-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Helsingborg forced 20 Talje Knights turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Talje Knights' players. The best player for the winners was guard Erik Joelsson (196-97) who scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Patrik Andersson (191-94) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Michiel Petersen (204-94) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks and point guard Filip Kovacek (182-95) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Helsingborg will face again Talje Knights (#6) on the road in the next round. Talje Knights will play against Eskilstuna and hope to win that game.
