Regular Season Round 15: SIG - Arras 61-63

Important game to mention about took place in llkirch-Graff.. Third ranked Arras (11-4) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 7th ranked SIG (7-8) 63-61 on Saturday evening. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But SIG won fourth quarter 17-10. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for guard Aminata Konate (169-90) who led her team to a victory scoring 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard D'lesha Lloyd (179-86, college: Clemson) helped adding 15 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Pauline Krawczyk (182-85) with 14 points and 8 rebounds and forward Margot Bienvenu (183-97) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Arras have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain third place with 11-4 record having just three points less than leader Avenir. SIG lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with eight games lost. Arras will play against league's second-placed Roche in La Roche in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. SIG will play on the road against Aulnoye (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
