Regular Season Round 15: Parnu - Kalev/Cramo 71-74

The most exciting game of round 15 in the Alexela KML took place in Parnu. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 5th ranked Parnu (9-8) to second ranked Kalev/Cramo (12-2) 74-71 on Sunday evening. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. It was a good game for the former international guard Rain Veideman (192-91) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 4 assists. American-Bulgarian power forward Cedric Simmons (206-86, college: N.Carolina St.) contributed with 11 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Kalev/Cramo players scored in double figures. Croatian center Domagoj Bubalo (212-91) answered with 23 points and 5 rebounds and forward Mihkel Kirves (190-96) added 9 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Parnu. Kalev/Cramo have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. Defending champion maintains second place with 12-2 record having 2 victories less than leader TU/Rock. Parnu at the other side dropped to the fourth position with eight games lost. Kalev/Cramo will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Parnu will play at home against the league's leader TU/Rock (#1) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
