No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Crema (10-8) defeated at home 15th ranked Iseo (4-14) 87-80 on Sunday. Crema shot 28 for 38 from the free-throw line, while Iseo only scored twelve points from the stripe. They outrebounded Iseo 45-27 including a 30-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Iseo was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was power forward Thomas De Min (203-86) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Daniele Manuelli (192-94) chipped in 26 points and 5 rebounds. Four Crema players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Andrea Leone (186-94) who recorded 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Gianluca Giorgi (197-95) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Crema maintains seventh position in B with 10-8 record, which they share with Padova. Newly promoted Iseo keeps the fifteenth place with 14 games lost. Crema will face higher ranked Piacenza (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Iseo will play against Milano Urania (#9) and hope to win that game.
