Regular Season Round 18: Ammerud Bskt - Kongsberg 56-87

BLNO top team - Kongsberg (18-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Ammerud Bskt (5-17) in Oslo 87-56. The game was mostly controlled by Kongsberg. Ammerud Bskt was better in fourth quarter 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for Cuban-American guard Juan Ferrales (188-91, college: Barry) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 5 assists. Croatian guard Tomislav Gabric (198-91, college: Ft.Hays State) contributed with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Coach Bard Stoller's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American-German forward Marco Sanders (202-79, college: Point Park) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds and forward Henrik Nielsen (193-89) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Ammerud Bskt. Kongsberg have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 18-2 record. Ammerud Bskt lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 17 games lost. Kongsberg's next round opponent will be Tromso (#8) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Ammerud Bskt will play against Nidaros Jets in Tromdheim and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
