Another exciting game was also this time a derby match between local teams from Doha: El Jaysh (#1) and Al Sadd (#8). Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side American forward AJ West (206-91, college: Nevada) responded with 25 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and Senegalese center Oumar Seck (208-88) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists. The victory was the twelfth consecutive win for El Jaysh. They maintain first place with 12-0 record. Al Sadd lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with nine games lost. El Jaysh's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Doha to the arena Qatar Sports Club.
