Regular Season Round 34: Hiroshima D. - Toyotsu FE 88-75

The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of Toyotsu FE (24-8) in Hiroshima on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Dragonflies (26-6) 88-75. The game was mostly controlled by Dragonflies. Toyotsu FE managed to win third quarter 24-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Australian-Trinidad and Tobago guard Daniel Dillon (193-86, college: Arizona) scored 20 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Senegalese center Aziz N'Diaye (213-88, college: Washington) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Five Dragonflies players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Rodney Carney (201-84, college: Memphis) responded with 20 points and 6 rebounds and Nigerian center Solomon Alabi (216-88, college: Florida St.) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Toyotsu FE's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Dragonflies have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 26-6 record, which they share with Kumamoto V. Toyotsu FE at the other side still keeps top place with eight games lost. Dragonflies is looking forward to face Shinshu BW (#5) in Nagano in the next round. Toyotsu FE will play on the road against Kagoshima (#6) in Renova and is hoping to win this game.
