No shocking result in a game in Ishikawa where second ranked Kanazawa Sam. (16-2) defeated 7th ranked Saitama Broncos (5-15) 67-54 on Sunday. They outrebounded Saitama Broncos 47-23 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American-Panamanian forward Gyno Pomare (203-86, college: San Diego) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Guard Tsukino Tsukino (178-88) chipped in 7 points and 6 assists. American forward Tiras Wade (200-81, college: La-Lafayette) produced 14 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import power forward Cyrus Tate (203-85, college: Iowa) added 14 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the thirteenth consecutive win for Kanazawa Sam..
