There was no surprise when 17th ranked La ICL Manresa (3-15) was defeated at home by fourteenth ranked UCAM Murcia (6-12) 73-63 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by UCAM Murcia. La ICL Manresa managed to win fourth quarter 18-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for Brazilian Vitor Benite (194-90, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 7 rebounds. Montenegrin power forward Nemanja Radovic (208-91, agency: BeoBasket) helped adding 16 points. Four UCAM Murcia players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Pere Tomas (202-89) responded with 16 points and 5 rebounds and Serbian point guard Aleksandar Cvetkovic (183-93, agency: BeoBasket) scored 14 points. La ICL Manresa's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. UCAM Murcia moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Zaragoza. Loser La ICL Manresa stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost. UCAM Murcia will meet at home league's leader Real Madrid in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
