Date: January 29, 2017
There was no surprise in Jyvaskyla where 11th ranked JyWe (4-13) was defeated by fourth ranked Ura Basket (13-5) 82-71 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Ura Basket. JyWe was better in fourth quarter 22-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded JyWe 45-34 including 30 on the defensive glass. JyWe was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Jermaine Watson (193-81, college: Boston Coll.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Ville Hanninen (193-95) who added 26 points during the contest.
