There was an upset in Casalpusterlengo where higher ranked Piacenza (10-9) was defeated by sixteenth ranked Recanati (4-15) 84-72 on Sunday. It was a great evening for Swedish-American Erik Rush (196-88, college: Montana St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists. American guard Travis Bader (196-91, college: Oakland) helped adding 21 points. At the losing side American guard Kenny Hasbrouck (191-86, college: Siena) responded with 20 points and guard Tommaso Raspino (200-89, agency: Players Group) scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Recanati maintains sixteenth place in A2 with 4-15 record. Loser Piacenza dropped to the eighth position with nine games lost. Recanati will face higher ranked Ravenna (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
