Second Stage Round 3: IK Eos - Talje 88-79

IK Eos delivered the eighth victory on Sunday night. This time they beat Talje Knights (3-6) 88-79 in Lund. Talje Knights trailed by 11 points at halftime and as many as 12 after three quarters before a 28-25 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 79-88 at the end of the game. The best player for the winners was guard Gustav Sundstrom (197-91) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Olle Karlsson (193-96) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. IK Eos' coach Axel Wallin used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Michiel Petersen (204-94) who recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and 23 rebounds and point guard Filip Kovacek (182-95) added 17 points and 5 assists respectively. Five Talje Knights players scored in double figures. IK Eos will face Lobas (#5) in Lomma in the next round. Talje Knights will play at home against Helsingborg and hope to win that game.
