Regular Season Round 35: Chiba Jets - Osaka Evessa 82-61

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Chiba. Third ranked Chiba Jets faced 3rd placed Osaka Evessa. Host Chiba Jets (22-12) smashed guests from Osaka (18-16) 82-61. Osaka Evessa was ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 51-26 second half run of Chiba Jets. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Osaka Evessa to just 5 points in third quarter. Osaka Evessa's coach Dai Oketani gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Chiba Jets maintains third place with 22-12 record having seven points less than leader SeaHorses which they share with defeated Osaka Evessa. Osaka Evessa at the other side keeps the third position with 16 games lost. Chiba Jets' next round opponent will be Yokohama BC (#5) on the road. Osaka Evessa will play against the league's second-placed Tochigi Brex and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
