Rather predictable result in Skopje where Kumanovo (3-0) defeated Karpos Sokoli (1-2) 106-101 on Wednesday. Karpos Sokoli trailed by 20 points after 3 quarters before a 44-29 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 101-106 at the end of the game. Kumanovo made 37-of-43 free shots (86.0 percent) during the game, while Karpos Sokoli only scored sixteen points from the stripe. 32 personal fouls committed by Karpos Sokoli helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Serbian power forward Danilo Mijatovic (206-83) stepped up and scored 27 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and forward Marjan Janevski (203-88) chipped in 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Kumanovo are looking forward to face Peja (#11) in Peje in the next round. Karpos Sokoli will play on the road against Teodo Tivat and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
