Important game to mention about took place in Tbilisi. Arena-76 (1-1) saved a 2-point victory at home edging Tskaltubo (0-2) 88-86 on Thursday evening. Tskaltubo was ahead by 6 points after three quarters before a 35-27 charge of Arena-76, which allowed them to win the game. American guard Rodnerius Lewis (193-93, college: Stillman) orchestrated the victory by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. Forward Tato Chachibaia (201-90) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American forward Travante Williams (197-93, college: Alaska-Fairb., agency: Duran International) replied with 27 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Brian Blackmon (188-89, college: Martin Methodist) added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Tskaltubo. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Arena-76 will play against SEU Tbilisi (#5) on the road in the next round.
