Regular Season Round 12: Giants - Regulators 82-86

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Giants (10-2) at the home court. Hosts were defeated by Regulators (11-2) 86-82. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Giants. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Regulators forced 21 Giants turnovers. Giants were plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of international power forward Eugene Bain (195-88, college: Bellevue) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 18 rebounds and the former international guard Brian Bain (190-81, college: Armstr.Atlantic) who added 18 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international Michael Bain with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and American forward Trent Cox (196, college: Our Lady Lake) scored 4 points and 15 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Regulators have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Giants at the other side dropped to the second place with two games lost. Regulators will play against Cleaners (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Giants will play against Rebels (#12) and hope to get back on the winning track.
