Another exciting game was between eighth ranked KTP-Basket and 5th ranked Lapuan Korikobrat where KTP-Basket (10-16) won against Lapuan Korikobrat (13-12) on the road 90-81. Lapuan Korikobrat was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 29-18 charge of KTP-Basket, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American Monyea Pratt (196-85, college: Stillman, agency: Court Side) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. Jamaican-American power forward Sherman Gay (201-82, college: Loyola Mary) contributed with 21 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five KTP-Basket players scored in double figures. American guard Jamal Jones (203-93, college: Texas A&M, agency: Stealth Sport) replied with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Damon Williams (201-73, college: Colorado St.-Pueblo, agency: Two Points) added 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Lapuan Korikobrat. KTP-Basket maintains eighth position with 10-16 record. Lapuan Korikobrat at the other side keeps the fifth place with 12 games lost. KTP-Basket will play against higher ranked Joensuun Kataja (#4) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Lapuan Korikobrat will play against UU-Korihait and hopes to get back on the winning track.
