Regular Season Round 24: Impuls BGUIR - Tsmoki II 75-71

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Minsk: Impuls BGUIR (#5) and Tsmoki II (#3). Impuls BGUIR (13-9) won against visiting Tsmoki II (13-7) 75-71. The game without a history. Impuls BGUIR led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of Genadziy Zahar (200-92) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and the former international guard Maksim Shustov (188-86) who added 20 points and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was point guard Andrei Rogozenko (183-97) with 19 points and point guard Andrey Stavrovskiy (185-97) scored 10 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tsmoki II's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Impuls BGUIR moved-up to fourth place. Tsmoki II lost third consecutive game. They keep the third position with seven games lost. Impuls BGUIR are looking forward to face league's second-placed COR-Borisfen in Mogilev in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Tsmoki II will play at home against Brest and is hoping to win this game.
