Regular Season Round 18: Castellbisbal - Sant Nicolau 69-75

There was an upset when higher ranked Castellbisbal (7-8) lost at home to thirteenth ranked Sant Nicolau (5-10) 75-69 on Saturday. Castellbisbal was trailing by 8 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 25-18 charge of Sant Nicolau, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for point guard Nil Angelats (185-93) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 4 assists. Forward Marc Sobrepera (201-86) contributed with 8 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Sant Nicolau's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Center Gerard Galbete (204-88) replied with 20 points and 8 rebounds and guard Felix Lopez (190-85) added 19 points in the effort for Castellbisbal. Sant Nicolau moved-up to twelfth place in Group C-A. Castellbisbal lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with eight games lost. Sant Nicolau will face higher ranked Salt (#5) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
