Regular Season Round 36: Yokohama BC - Chiba Jets 72-70

The most exciting game of round 36 in the B League took place in Yokohama. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 3rd ranked Chiba Jets (22-13) to fifth ranked Yokohama BC (14-21) 72-70 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Chiba Jets. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. It was a good game for international center Pape Faye (200-87) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. American forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: Florida Atlantic) contributed with 22 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American Tyler Stone (203-91, college: SE Missouri St., agency: Diamond Sports) replied with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import center Hilton Armstrong (210-84, college: Connecticut) added 12 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Chiba Jets. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Yokohama BC have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 14-21 record. Chiba Jets at the other side keep the third place with 13 games lost. Yokohama BC are again looking forward to face higher ranked Chiba Jets (#3) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Chiba Jets will have a break next round.
