No shocking result in a game in Nagano where first ranked Dragonflies (27-6) defeated 5th ranked Shinshu BW (10-24) 83-77 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 28-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was Australian-Trinidad and Tobago guard Daniel Dillon (193-86, college: Arizona) who scored 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. American forward Connor Lammert (206-94, college: Texas) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. Five Dragonflies players scored in double figures. Dutch power forward Jeroen van der List (213-89, college: Indian Hills CC) produced a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds and Canadian center Chad Posthumus (211-91, college: Morehead St.) added 18 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Shinshu BW's coach Ryutaro Onodera gave the chance to play for eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Dragonflies. They maintain first place with 27-6 record. Shinshu BW lost their fifth game in a row. They dropped to the sixth position with 24 games lost. Dragonflies will have a break next round. Shinshu BW will play again at home against the league's leader Dragonflies (#1) and hope to win that game.
