Another exciting game was played in Tsukuba between fourth ranked Orange Vikings and 5th ranked Cyberdyne IR where Orange Vikings (14-19) beat Cyberdyne IR (13-20) on the road with 17-point difference 89-72. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Orange Vikings's pressure prevailed and they won that period 27-15 extending their advantage to 17 points. They made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. U.S. Virgin Islands center Craig Williams (206-89, college: TCU) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Toshino Tatsuhiko (185-88) contributed with 18 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Four Orange Vikings players scored in double figures. American power forward Rick Rickert (211-83, college: Minnesota) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and guard Maeda Yosuke (188-89) added 6 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Cyberdyne IR. Cyberdyne IR's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Orange Vikings have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 14-19 record. Cyberdyne IR lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 20 games lost. Orange Vikings will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Cyberdyne IR will play again at home against Orange Vikings (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
