Regular Season Round 35: Bambitious Nara - Aomori Watts 75-73

A very close game took place in Nara between Bambitious Nara and Aomori Watts. Sixth ranked Bambitious Nara (10-23) got a very close home victory over 4th placed Aomori Watts (15-18). Bambitious Nara managed to escape with a 2-point win 75-73 on Saturday evening. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 39-36 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for Nigerian forward Andy Ogide (204-87, college: Colorado St., agency: HMS) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 5 rebounds. American guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia) helped adding 17 points. Woodbury is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American center Kyle Barone (208-89, college: Idaho) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and guard Daichi Shimoyama (181-89) scored 15 points. Four Aomori Watts players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Bambitious Nara moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Kagawa FA. Aomori Watts at the other side keep the fourth position with 18 games lost. Bambitious Nara will again meet at home higher ranked Aomori Watts (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Aomori Watts will have a break next round.
