There was no surprise when 7th ranked Crema (10-9) lost on the road to third ranked Piacenza (15-4) 82-73 on Saturday. It was a very good performance for the former international power forward Massimo Rezzano (205-82, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Giacomo Sanguinetti (180-90, agency: SPORTlab Agency) contributed with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Point guard Davide Liberati (190-91, agency: Players Group) answered with 27 points and center Davide Bozzetto (207-89, agency: Players Group) added 10 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for Crema. Four Crema players scored in double figures. Piacenza maintains third place in B with 15-4 record having just one point less than leader Omegna. Loser Crema keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. Piacenza will face Lecco (#6) at home in the next round. Crema will play against Sestu and hope to win that game.
