Regular Season Round 21: SKK Siedlce - Notec Inowr. 94-87

There was a small surprise when eleventh ranked SKK Siedlce (9-12) won against at home 9th ranked Notec Inowr. (9-12) 94-87 on Saturday. Strangely Notec Inowr. outrebounded SKK Siedlce 35-23 including 26 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Point guard Marcin Plawucki (177-89, agency: Promotex) nailed 16 points and 8 assists for the winning side and center Marcin Nedzi (205-89) accounted for 16 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Mikolaj Grod (194-89) came up with 20 points and 9 rebounds and Bartosz Pochocki (185-90) added 19 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Notec Inowr. in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. SKK Siedlce moved-up to ninth place, which they share with defeated Notec Inowr. SKK Siedlce will meet higher ranked Polonia Leszno (#6) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Notec Inowr. will play against Spojnia and hope to secure a win.
