Regular Season Round 21: Fubon Braves - Yulon Luxgen 92-79

Very significant was Fubon Braves' (#3, 15-9) victory against second-best Yulon Luxgen (14-9) 92-79. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Yulon Luxgen. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Fubon Braves shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 61.9 percentage. The best player for the winners was Central African-American center Patrick O'Bryant (213-86, college: Bradley) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds. The former international forward Hsiao-Jung Chen (197-90) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Five Fubon Braves players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Ivorian-French power forward Herve Lamizana (208-81, college: Rutgers, agency: Basket Management Solutions) who recorded a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds and the former international forward Cheng-Ju Lu (194-86) added 21 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Fubon Braves (15-9) moved-up to second place. Loser Yulon Luxgen dropped to the third position with nine games lost. They share it with Taiwan Beer. Fubon Braves will meet Pauian (#5) in the next round. Yulon Luxgen will play against the league's leader Dacin Tigers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
