Leader Oostende delivered the fourteenth victory. This time they beat 6th ranked Kangoeroes (8-10) 86-75. Serbian guard Dusan Djordjevic (193-83, agency: BeoBasket) notched 8 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the effort and the former international center Khalid Boukichou (208-92, agency: BeoBasket) supported him with 15 points and 6 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Oostende's coach Dario Gjergja allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 17 points and 7 assists by American point guard Wesley Channels (190-88, college: Austin Peay St.) did not help to save the game for Kangoeroes. The former international forward Randy Oveneke (200-86) added 18 points. Five Kangoeroes players scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains first position with 14-4 record. Kangoeroes lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with ten games lost. Oostende's next round opponent will be Belfius Mons-Hainaut (#6) in Jemappes where they are favorite. Kangoeroes will play on the road against the league's second-placed Antwerp Giants and hope to win that game.
