No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Milano Urania (8-11) crushed on the road 15th ranked Iseo (4-15) 81-56 on Saturday. Milano Urania made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game, while Iseo only scored four points from the stripe. They outrebounded Iseo 40-24 including a 33-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Iseo was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for point guard Simone Ferrarese (182-87) who helped to win the game recording 22 points. The former international power forward Andrea Paleari (202-81) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Milano Urania players scored in double figures. Center Stefano Scuratti (202-94) answered with 13 points and 5 rebounds and guard Alessandro Acquaviva (193-82, college: Fordham) added 15 points in the effort for Iseo. Milano Urania have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain ninth place in B with 8-11 record, which they share with Desio. Newly promoted Iseo dropped to the sixteenth position with 15 games lost. Milano Urania will face higher ranked Cento (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Iseo will play against Vicenza (#12) and hope to win that game.
